About
This project proposes an affordable, locally operated grocery store in the now-closed Rite Aid storefront at 218 N. Main Street, bringing new life to a long-vacant space in the heart of downtown. The store will provide Sebastopol residents with convenient access to quality, affordable groceries, reducing the need to travel to Santa Rosa or beyond for everyday essentials.
Benefits
As a locally operated Grocery Outlet, we’ll keep money circulating in Sebastopol by creating 50 new jobs, supporting nearby businesses, and reducing the need for residents to travel farther for affordable groceries. In addition, our store will generate increased revenue for city funds through property and sales taxes, allowing the community to invest in services and improvements that benefit us all.
